FERC's Thanksgiving Week Support Group meeting on November 21, 2017 will not be held due to its proximity to the Thanksgiving Holiday.  We apologize for the time between meetings that will result but must give in to the requirements of the busy and stressful time of year.  We will meet again on December 19, 2017.

Mobile Mental Health Services for homebound Seniors living in Hayward, Fremont, Newark and Union City.

Services include:

-          In-home assessment of mental health needs

-          Medication support and management

-          Individual and family therapy

-          Assistance in finding services

-          Crisis intervention

There is also the City of Fremont Human Services - Aging and Family Services Division which which serves Union City, Fremont and Newark and they offer:

-          Case management

-          Caregiver Support

-          Senior Peer Counselors

-          Pathways to Positive Aging

-          Paratransit

-          Community Ambassadors program (87 Ambassadors: 7 ethnic/faith-based groups (Sikh, Muslim, Taiwanese, Latino, Filipino, India Community Center & Centerville Presbyterian)
