There are a variety of mental health services in Alameda County-this section of our website focuses on helping people find services that are funded by the county.

Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services has a section on its own website (www.acbhcs.org) which lists available services in Alameda County. Services are listed in several ways:

One way is by type of service; this is referred to as "modality" on the webiste. Click on the link that follows to access this part of the County website.


Services are also listed by provider name, you may click on the link below, which will direct you to the provider list:


There is also a search feature which allows you to search for kinds of services in geographic areas and by age group served. The link below will allow you access to this feature:


Alameda County also participates in the statewide information service called the Network of Care, which provides a variety of information including information on services; the site for Alameda County can be accessed at the link below:


Alameda County's ACCESS program can also help you find services, including private practitioners. To reach ACCESS call 1-800-491-9099.
